The number of new cases of corona disease in the country is declining. But now the government is worried about Covid’s new version of the Delta Plus. Maharashtra has the highest number of cases. Delta Plus variants have been identified in six districts of the state. The travel history of the infected is being investigated. In addition, samples of people who came in contact with the victims are also being collected. Meanwhile, the number of people infected with the Delta Plus variant in Madhya Pradesh is on the rise. So far, four Delta Plus have been identified. New cases of Delta Plus variant infections are coming, and it is being monitored by the central government.

The Delta Plus variant is more contagious and could soon spread to other people. Scientists are still investigating whether the corona vaccine is suitable for fighting the virus. The second wave of the corona epidemic is now slowly receding.

According to research/ data collection cough and loss of smell or taste, sore throat, runny nose, fever and headaches are more common symptoms for people who have contracted the corona virus Delta Plus variant. This is a variant which identified firstly in India.

According to medical Experts, that it is of the opinion, that it is too early to predict the effectiveness of the existing vaccines on the new variant. But it is a very few assurance for all. Because Union Health Ministry Secretary, Rajesh Bhushan, has stated that both Indian vaccines, Covishield as well as Covaxin are effective against the Delta variant. This new variant Delta Plus might spark the 3rd wave of Covid-19, but there is very low incidence of such cases, hence there is no certainty, still fear exists here.
